Kellah Farm Newsletter

We've had a busy year at Kellah Farm, with lots of people deciding to take a 'staycation' at home in Britain, with Hadrian's Wall Country high on the list of destinations.

We've had people visiting from each corner of the British Isles, Kellah being the ideal halfway point between the South coast of England and the highlands of Scotland.

We've had quite a lot of guests staying this summer who have been taking part in the digging programmes at the Roman sites along Hadrians Wall..Vindolanda and Carvoran. They've enjoyed

their archaeological holiday and found some top secret excavations during their dig.

Everyone at Kellah is ok, Coulson has been quite poorly though (age 95) but he is back at home after another spell in hospital.

The farm itself is also busy as usual, the cows will be coming home soon into the sheds for winter, they are currently wading about in the wet fields after the soggy summer we had.

We will soon be putting the Tups (Rams) out in to the fields for Tupping time....and the cycle begins again leading up to lambing in March/April.
